School Delays and Closings

The season of snow, rain, and sleet is upon us! If there is to be a school closing or delay, this will be determined by the Superintendent and around 6am a message will be broadcast to students, parents, and teachers using the following communication tools:  

AlertNow: An AlertNow message is sent electronically via telephone to the homes of students and employees. The lists for the message recipients is maintained by each school so if for some reason you do not receive this message and would like to, please call your school and request your name be added to the AlertNow phone list. If more convenient, you may request that the message be sent to your cell phone.

District Webpage: The district maintains a link to the Sovernet listing of school closings in Vermont and New Hampshire. The link to this site is in the left hand column of this webpage.

District Telephone Message: The district provides a telephone recording about school delays and closings. Call 802-295-8620 ext.800 to access this message.

Local radio stations and TV stations: The district communicates closing and delays to the following radio and television stations. Announcments are frequent.
