Golfing News: HHS Junior Joe Toland shoots five below par!
Hartford Hurricanes - Excellence in Golfing
On Tuesday, May 12th, 2009, Hartford High School student, Joe Toland, shot a 66 on a par 71 course in the Patriot Classic Tournament, at the Mount Anthony Country Club. Not only is this a new record for this tournament, but it is also a new school record in the State of Vermont! And folks, he is only a Junior!

Athletic Director Ed Cooke introduced golfing at Hartford High in 1989. The head coach is teacher Roy Hathorn and he is assisted by teacher Mike Hathorn.
